I took full control over Mutual of Enumclaw's social media presence in 2023. Here are some of the things I've done since then:
-
Designed and wrote copy for all kinds of posts: Company news and historical events, thought leadership pieces, themed horror movie posters, groundhog glamour portraits, and more!
-
Fostered growth in engagement and followership, especially on LinkedIn and Instagram, meeting or exceeding industry average for engagement (see Results tab below for details)
-
Performed a major year-end audit in 2024, leading to more focused efforts on high-engagement topics starting in 2025 and continuing into 2026
-
So far, 2026 is trending towards 2x the LinkedIn engagements and impressions over 2025
-
-
Developed distinct content pillars and audience segments across each platform
-
Standardized social templates for each platform using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
-
Managed community engagements, including interacting with and sharing posts from agents, employees, and partner organizations and responding to comments and messages
-
- LinkedIn's followership alone has grown by over 150% since 2023, and trending towards doubling the number gained in 2026
- Instagram has had a slow-but-steady followership increase and maintains a small but highly engaged audience (5.3% average engagement in 2025)
-
Average engagement rates are consistently equal to or above benchmarks for the financial services industry (stats are as of year-end 2025):
-
LinkedIn: 3.2% (benchmark: 3.2%)
-
Facebook: 4.7% (benchmark: 1.5%)
-
Instagram: 5.3% (benchmark: 3%)
-
So far, 2026 is trending towards 2x the LinkedIn engagements and impressions over 2025
