The City
Toledo Museum of Art, Hitchcock Gallery // November 6, 2015 – February 14, 2016
Course: Art Museum Practices III (Exhibition)
Group work: As the culminating project in my Art Museum Practices concentration, my classmates and I planned, designed, and curated an exhibition in conjunction with the Toledo Museum of Art. We first chose three exhibition themes surrounding the main topic of ‘the city’: A Day in the City, Architecture & Renewal, and Economics and Society.
My role: In addition to contributing to the group’s curation, research, writing, and art direction processes, I was also selected to oversee the installation of the artworks in the gallery and make changes to the layout as needed.
